About Vaishali

	Vaishali, a graduate in B.sc Mathematics from Delhi University is a Diploma holder in Kathak from Kathak Kendre Delhi ( one of the leading dance institutions in India) and has expertise this intricate art form under the tutelage of Guru Sh Rajinder Gangani of Jaipur Gharana and also from Smt Geetanjali Lal in the beginning stage of learning.
			A Doordarshan approved Artiste and is also a member of the reference panel of artiste of I.C.C.R (Indian Council of Cultural Relations). Conferred ‘Savitri Kala Sangam Award’ for distinguished upcoming kathak dancer of the year 1994. Nrityangna Shree Award for the Year 1997. Title ‘Singar Mani’ for the year 2000. *Received two years Scholarship from Ministry of Human Resource & Development in the year 1998-1999. Has been invited as a judge by different schools, colleges & organizations to conduct folk and classical dance competitions.
	Worked in Documentary Film ‘Jaipur Kathak’ directed by G.S Channi. “Secret Superstructures” directed by Mike Wiseman for Discovery Channel.
